The Story Behind the Work

There was a time when I didn’t know how to use my voice—let alone believe it had value. I was silenced, but it didn’t last long. I learned to connect with people through conversation, curiosity, and relationships, and in doing so, I found my footing. Those connections became the doorway to clarity, confidence, and direction.

My career journey—alongside my work as an adjunct professor, certified career coach, and doctoral student—has never been just about professional advancement. It has been about learning to ask better questions, trusting my discernment, and discovering how faith, education, and healing intersect. I navigated these seasons while balancing motherhood, personal growth, and a deepening relationship with God. Each experience strengthened my ability to trust the process of becoming and shaped how I show up for others today.

Along the way, I noticed something consistent: people kept coming to me—not only for résumé support, career advice, and guidance, but also because they had watched how I moved. They observed my career progression, my transparency, and my ability to speak with clarity and honesty. I realized then that I was not simply helping people find jobs or academic direction; I was helping them connect the dots between who they were, where they were going, and who they were becoming.

Over the years, I have supported high school students preparing for college, taught first-year students as an adjunct professor, and partnered with an established coach to support women and graduate students navigating academic and professional transitions. These experiences continue to shape how I guide others—not from a place of having all the answers, but as someone deeply committed to walking alongside others with wisdom, compassion, and integrity as they connect the dots in their own lives.

Through this journey, I came to understand that I am a Kingdom Scholar—called to integrate faith, education, healing, and transformation in meaningful ways. From that realization, something deeper began forming in my heart—an assignment rooted in faith, purpose, and leadership.

My story is still unfolding, but I am certain of this: every scholar has a purpose worth pursuing, a calling worth honoring, and a life that makes sense when the dots are finally connected.
